Rod Johnston

Rod has been working in the mergers and acquisitions arena for over 20 years. He started Omni Group International in 2004 specializing in the healthcare industry. He has completed over 300 transactions over his career. He has also performed over 1,000 valuations of healthcare businesses from small $200,000 doctor practices to large firms with values over $40 million. Rod's background is in Accounting and Finance. He graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Business Administration specializing in Finance and also completed his Accounting Degree at CWU. He then went on to Seattle University to complete the Masters in Business Administration. Rod also is a Certified Management Accountant. Rod began his career at McCaw Cellular which became AT&T Wireless. He held various positions including Director of Accounting, Director of Finance and Assistant Treasurer. In his latter role, he managed $5.5 billion investment portfolio, structured and managed a $5 billion short-term debt facility and participated in numerous mergers and acquisition projects worth up to $12 billion.
