Justin Gilson

Prior to Co-Founding Unity Point, Justin was a Partner and Head of M&A at Building Industry Partners, a sector-focused private equity firm, where he led the firm’s M&A team and West Coast office. Previously, Justin was an investment professional at Transom Capital Group and Compass Diversified Holdings (NYSE: CODI), where he focused on evaluating, executing, and monitoring investments primarily in the consumer, business services, and industrials sectors. He started his career at UBS Investment Bank, where he focused on leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and other corporate advisory engagements in the Technology, Media, and Telecom Group. Justin graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Economics and earned an MBA, with honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
